Service Requested Quality Value Saved My husband and I hired AdVal to reface our kitchen cabinets and drawers. We wanted white oak to replace all the cherry wood that we had installed 23 years ago. One of the owners, Andy, came out and gave a great "pitch" about his company and after meeting with 8 separate companies, we decided AdVal was our best bet. And we were so right! Our work crew was a father/son duo, Anthony and Brandon. They were so easy to work with: quiet; respectful; showed up on time and worked really, really hard all day; cleaned up before leaving each day; easy to talk to; and did just brilliant cabinetry work. I would use the word "meticulous" to describe their skills. Anthony even pulled a rabbit out of his hat and built exactly what I wanted around the hood vent over the cook top: he was able to encase the hood vent with the same white oak we were using in the rest of the kitchen. I had showed him a photo of something like it I found on line and he said, "I can make that". And he did --- it's beautiful and is the crown jewel of our renovated kitchen. There were a couple of other challenges regarding how to do this or that, and Anthony came up with solutions every time. What a talent he is! His son was also extremely careful about, among a bunch of other things, putting all the the drawers together and installing the new face fronts and soft-close hinges. And they did all of this in 6 work days! There was one small issue with our refrigerator leaking water (ice makers are a pain but you gotta love having one), and the other owner, Alan, came right out the same day, figured out what the problem was, drove over to the local hardware store and bought the part, came back to our house and fixed it the same day. That gets a "wow!" Debbie from their main office was very communicative, called back/sent emails when she said she would -- how rare is that these days? Very rare but she was right on top of everything related to our project. We are beyond thrilled with the outcome and know that we made the right choice. Plus the price was fair and less than what all other 7 companies quoted us.

We received quotes from six different contractors for a bathroom remodel that was necessary due to a water leak. We initially met with Andy F. who provided resources and suggestions regarding materials and design. From the outset, Adval’s pricing was competitive, and the materials and design elements were appealing. Andy listened to our wishes and responded clearly and quickly. We chose Adval over all competitors for three primary reasons: we liked working with Andy, strongly positive reviews online, and competitive pricing using quality materials. The project lasted several weeks. We especially appreciated Clebio’s attention to detail and careful implementation of each stage of the project. Also our Project Manager, Patrick, consistently kept us informed of work schedules and project milestones. We had a firm deadline for this project. Adval met it without any contractor drama. That’s especially worth mentioning. We recommend Adval Construction enthusiastically. We’re very happy with the outcome. We appreciated the care shown for our home as well as the quality of the workmanship and materials.
