Mike Griffin (Capitol City Wood Works, LLC) and his crew had just finished a deck project for my neighbor and she was extremely pleased. I called him after hearing my friend's experience and reading such positive reviews. I hired him immediately and highly recommend him. I have only praise for the entire project. Mike is very knowledgeable and his crew is excellent - true craftsmen.

We just used Capitol City Woodworks for the first time and were so impressed with the friendly professional crew, skilled workmanship, and the outstanding artistic finished result that was achieved. Our very weathered front double doors looked new, lovely, and were a perfect match to the inside doors. We had a great experience working with Capital City Woodworks. Mike came in after a previous contractor had left us in a tough spot, with work unfinished and some of it done poorly. He was honest and straightforward about what needed to be fixed and how he would handle it. His communication throughout the project was clear, organized, and consistent. The quality of the work is excellent. The stairs and deck look beautiful and feel solid. His team worked hard, showed up when they said they would, and took real pride in their work. The pricing was fair, and there were no surprises. We’re so grateful we found Mike. He genuinely helped us out of a bad situation and left us with a finished project that we love.
