DJ Dominic...more like DJ Dominate. This guy rocks. He DJ'd a recent wedding I attended and essentially kept the dance floor rocking all night with his selection of tunes. His variety was spot on as he put together the perfect collection to entertain everyone of all age groups. All too often I've been at weddings where the DJ starts to believe the wedding is more about him and less about who's getting married. Not the case with Dominic. He did an excellent job MC'ing and made sure the focus of the wedding remained on the newlyweds. Not to mention, he was very accomodating to requests. I truly believe picking the right DJ is the most important aspect of planning a stellar wedding, and Dominic rose to the occasion. Rock n'roll.
We found Dominic by recommendation and he just DJ'd our wedding this past weekend. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Not only does he have just about every kind of music from all genres you could possibly conceive and not only did he conscientiously stick to all of our instructions for our big day, but he intuitively keeps things running smoothly. During an event which can be stressful for just about an entire year leading up to it, I can't even begin to articulate what a relief it was. At every juncture during the evening (and during the ceremony as we had both reception and ceremony in the same place) he courteously and promptly directed the proceedings. We never had to wonder how much longer cocktail hour lasted and when dinner service began, or when as bride and groom we were to have our first dance, father daughter, bouquet toss, etc. Dominic watched and managed the time. We really recommend Dominic Wayne's services. A professional like this is really difficult to come by and for all the added service he's just an incredible value. Always graciously taking requests, he also grasped what we wanted and just did it. He wears a sharp suit too. Can't recommend him enough. What a pro...
This guy's great . . . can I give him more than 5 stars?!?! I used Dominic Wayne for a National Sales Meeting I coordinated this year (150 people held at the Renaissance Hotel in Chicago). Dominic is the DJ at Vaughan's Pub on Sheffield and also had a great resume of other company/corporate events & weddings that he has done . . . I knew he would do a great job with the music and when meeting with him I learned that he also did video production. We hired him to do our Kick off opening day module for meeting. We needed something that would get the employees excited and engerized for the next 3 days. Dominic created about a 5 minute video showcasing all of our brands in an extremely creative and upbeat way (all set to great music of course). The video was great and I actually received several requests for copies of it including one from the head of our Board of Directors who was totally impressed and showed it at the next board meeting. We also hired him to DJ our evening events . . . first night was the welcome cocktail reception, the second night was a casino/roaring 20's themed party. The first night was great, played great music and kept everyone mingling way past the end of dinner. The second night was even better than the first (and 7 mths later, people are still talking about him). We had a Roaring 20's themed night & Dominic was the hit of the party. He dressed up like a gangster, started out the first part of the night with appropriately themed music and then graduated into dance music and had the whole party on the dance floor . . . the hotel literally had to kick us out of the ballroom. We originally only hired him for 2 nights, but actually ended asking him to come back for the third night to DJ our award cermony. . . and again he was a hit. Dominic really brought some freshness and energy to what could have easily been another boring sales meeting. I'm looking forward to the next meeting or event or party I can book him for . . . unitl then I'll head to Vaughan's to hear him play.
We used Dominic as a wedding dj. He was great to work with and was very accommodating with music choices. He had wonderful recommendations and was very intuitive with our genres in music tastes. He kept people on the dance floor all night long. We have received many compliments for having such a great DJ. I would definitely use him again for any future events and I would have no reservations recommending him to anyone else. Cheers to a wonderful DJ!
