I just attended the 60 hour course with Sharon O'Neill and Anne Edwards, guest star Jill Edwards. The course exceeded my expectations, cleared some of my misconceptions as a classroom teacher, and gave me confidence to begin tutoring! 8 days commuting to NYC in the summer, and it flew by! I highly recommend Literacy for Life, Inc.!
Although I was a licensed New York State “Reading Teacher” when I started going to Ann’s classes, I knew nothing about teaching reading. Ann changed that. Using the Orton-Gillingham approach, Ann broke down reading instruction into manageble parts. No matter how many times I listen to one of Ann’s training sessions, I always learn something new. Additionally, Sharon O’Neill and Jill Edwards, are part of Ann’s team at Literacy for Life. Sharon and Jill are extremely knowledgeable and completely dedicated to providing excellent instruction to their trainees. I highly recommend Literacy for Life!
