I absolutely loved my visit to the office! Dr. Teruel was incredibly quick with the injections, and they didn’t hurt nearly as much as I had anticipated. The entire staff at the Head Pain Institute are extraordinary!! So kind, patient, cheerful and accommodating: from Shelby booking my first appontment, to the women at the front desk and Mikaela, clinic supervisor. The staff's genunuity is a reflection of Dr. Teruel's gentleness, thoroughness and kindness. I felt I had a thorough examination and she explained everything clearly to me. All treatment costs were shown up front and explained carefully to me, so no surprises. Truly a breath of fresh air in this world of rude, inefficient and ineffective health care clinics!
Dr. Teruel and her staff are absolutely amazing! I visited them with severe jaw pain and popping. They administered injections and prescribed a night guard, and my symptoms have significantly improved! CJ, the assistant, was incredibly helpful. She provided a thorough explanation of how to properly care for the appliance. I had a few questions, and she patiently answered them with professionalism. I highly recommend Dr. Teruel and her team to anyone suffering from TMJ.
