Earlier this month I had Knoy Metal Works install railings for two exterior sets of stairs. These are no flimsy, off-the-shelf pieces. Both railings were custom-fabricated on-site. They're extremely solid, high-quality workmanship. I had these installed to improve accessibility and safety, but they've added a nice, finished look to my property.
I had the pleasure of working with Antonio on two projects. For the first project, he installed a simple black metal handrail for some stairs we had in the back yard, which was exactly what we needed. For the other project, he retrofitted an existing black metal stair rail. Not only did it come out looking better than we hoped, but we were so appreciative of his creative problem-solving which allowed us to use our existing railing and save us the cost of buying a whole new railing. We would gladly hire Antonio for future projects and highly recommend him for metalworks projects.
When I set about getting estimates, Antonio Knoy (owner) was quick to respond and make an appointment to view the job. I liked him from the start: easy going and professional. And his bid was competitive. So I picked him. They finished the job today and it looks great. My friends have been telling me it's time to get railings for my front steps. So I did. Antonio and his brother, Daniel built 3 different rails for us on-site and we couldn't have been happier. They were careful, meticulous and thoroughly professional. In fact, we will have Antonio back to create a rail leading down to our basement and potentially some other projects. Highly recommend!
