We’ve worked with Lisa for multiple milestones (our engagement shoot, a fun creative session, our wedding, and most recently family photos). Every time, she has exceeded our expectations! Lisa combines both professionalism and vision in her work. We were recommended to Lisa as our wedding photographer from a friend. A meeting was quickly setup as she was located in Austin and we are in the DFW area. Upon sitting down, she asked us a number of questions to get an idea of what we were looking for, specific details about the day, as well as personal questions to understand us as a couple. We connected instantly. The engagement shoot was setup and we felt unbelievably comfortable during our session. She gave us suggestions, was directive, and also utilized the room extensively as we found a very unique place. I cannot write enough about her work for our wedding day. Prior, we had meetings on specific details we wanted for our day. An example of her vision was we had decided to do a first look. Lisa suggested we also take pictures of the wedding party during this time as well, as this was something we had not considered. OMG! Best idea ever! We got some of our favorites pictures from this idea as well as it was a great time saver and added flexibility for after the ceremony. This definitely showed her experience in the field. The ceremony and reception pictures were incredible. By the time of me writing this review, it has been almost two months since the event, and we still are in awe of the quality and quantity of pictures she took during the reception. Both of us were so wrapped up in making sure we were positioned correctly to not get bad pictures. Lisa basically said to us “that’s my job, your job is to enjoy the evening.” That is exactly what happened. She was everywhere! She got so many key pictures and captured so many of our guests, it’s insane to think she was working the reception by herself as our wedding was about 150+ people.
