Totally in love with this place. And not just because it's a block and a half from my house. Very chill, meditative vibe at the sessions I have attended. Focused on self-awareness -- including body scan awareness -- rather than competitive asana races. Thank you. I know my downward dog is modified into a tripod dog. At Lotusland, that's just fine.
I took a one-off class here using ClassPass so this isn’t the most informed review, but I had the best time. The instructor Ati AND her students created the sweetest, warmest environment I’ve ever experienced in a yoga class. Students happily responded to questions from Ati, and hung back after class to chit chat with Ati and each other. It was lovely to experience something other than the typical awkward silence and rushing out the door you see at other studios. Lotusland seems like a wonderful community, one that makes me wish I lived closer so I could be a part of it! Hope to visit again soon!
