Ohana Surf Project

This company is the best! Took my 10 year old autistic son out for his first surf lesson and everyone including Kevin our incredible teacher and Marco his helper went above and beyond in being patient, helpful, fun and safe.

Ohana surf project was so fun, informative and overall amazing experience for a first timer surfer MAHALO!!

This was a lot of fun! Highly recommend, quality equipment and really easy to follow instruction. Didn’t think I’d like it as much as I did!

My family of 5 had the best experience with Ohana Surf Project! Sean and Marc we fantastic with my kids ages 8, 11, and 13 and my husband and I. For sure I struggled the most to get up, but they gave me great tips and I finally was able to ride a wave! Such an awesome time with a great crew in a magical spot!

What a great experience our family had with Ohana Surf Project. We booked the 2hr family lesson. The kids were 10 and 12. Our kids are confident swimmers and this session fit us perfectly. We also picked up the picture package and it was soooooo worth it. The staff were amazing right from the start and the 4 of us all had an amazing session. While the waves aren't what you would picture surfing, they are the perfect bunny hill in the water. All four of us were able to get up and get our feet under us. I had some bad habits but the instructors were so great in helping me get things right and I caught my share of waves as well. Everyone was willing to answer my questions while out on the water, I was curious how to read waves, and other technical things on the sport, you know the DAD type stuff. The kids were just ripping and having a great time. The area of Waikiki was perfect. Every morning there were area's that had a lot of surfers, and we were not crowded at all. Lots of waves to ride so our 2hr family session was a lot of time. I really can't speak enough about how awesome the team was. It really complimented the session, and had everyone walking away with smiles on our faces, and wanting more. I would 100% book again with Ohana and recommend them to families that want to learn and catch some waves. Mahalo
