The Sprout House

My daughter started at SH when she was 2.5 yo and graduated when she was ready to go to UTK. During her time, she has grown and learned so much as well as making a lot of friends. SH is outstanding and very different from other home daycares in the SD area while still being affordable. Laura and Adam are excellent teachers. Laura always prepares weekly lessons for class, with some weeks learning about the rainforest, castles & knights, the 5 senses and feelings etc. The kids would also have craft projects for each week based on the topic of the week. Each month, my daughter also learned a new letter and how to write it. There are so many more... One of the highlights for my daughter is friendships. She made her first best friend there and all the other kids and their parents are super nice and open as well. We could easily talk to other parents during the pickup and chat about their experiences. The kids went to each other's birthday parties and shared many experiences. I am very happy with my daughter's time here and would strongly recommend SH to other parents.

It’s been over a year since we moved away, but not a month goes by that we don’t talk about Ms. Laura and Sprout House. Both of our kids went there (my son started at 18 months and went there until he was 4, my daughter went there for about 6 months before we moved, she was 2), and even now, they still ask when they can go back. That’s how much of an impact she made on our family. Ms. Laura isn’t just a caregiver—she’s a truly gifted teacher and a warm, grounding presence for these little souls (and moms, lol). She created a space that felt like a second home, filled with love, calm, and the kind of gentle structure that helped our kids really thrive. What stood out most was how deeply she cared—not just about what they were learning, but about who they were becoming. She noticed the little things, celebrated their milestones, and treated each child with such respect and warmth. Beyond that, I was such an anxious first-time mom and was so scared to leave my son with anyone. She was so communicative and sent me pictures and messages throughout the day, assuring me that he was in good hands and getting plenty of love from her. There is no better place for your children than with Ms. Laura at Sprout House. I am so grateful I had her to lean on in the earlier years while raising my babies and that my kids got to experience someone outside of a family member who truly loved and cared for them. We miss you Ms. Laura!

5 Stars is not enough for the Sprout House. We were lucky enough to get in to the Sprout House family when my son turned 3. Adam & Laura have a beautiful home where they have created a classroom environment in the bonus room & have a big backyard to play on the playground, kick balls, ride bikes & explore. They do amazing learning activities & projects. We can’t say enough good things about the Sprout House. I highly recommend for anyone looking for teachers that will care for your child like their own. I can’t wait for our 2nd child to be apart of the Sprout House family.

Absolutely amazing Preschool! Both our daughters have attended The Sprout House with our oldest just Graduating to TK. Laura and Adam are incredibly patient, kindhearted and loving people. They provide a very nurturing space for young kids to grow, learn and discover themselves. Everyday feels like a new adventure at The Sprout House. We could not have imagined a better experience for our daughters.

The Sprout House is an amazing place for your child to go to preschool. My son went there from 3-5 & absolutely loved it. Adam & Laura do such a great job with the students. They have a wonderful bonus room attached to their home where they do most of the classroom activities. They also have a big backyard for the kids to play on the playground, practice their soccer shots, Ride bikes, & explore. I highly recommend The Sprout House to any families that are looking for a clean, safe, fun, loving environment for their little one. We are so grateful we found Adam & Laura. I can't wait for my youngest to join the Sprout House family soon.
