U.S. Exterior Chicago

U.S. Exterior did concrete work (replaced the floor (5.5' x 16' on my porch) which led to replacing the pillars as they were completely rotted inside. Small job for them; big job for me. I am 110% satisfied. They also repaired/replaced aluminum siding around windows, soffit, fascia and garage. Pleased because of the excellent quality of work and pleased because most companies were not interested in these little jobs. The work was completed over a few months as U.S. Exterior worked around other jobs in the neighborhood. Pricing was reasonable.

Conrad from US Exterior is a great person to work with. We needed to install a new attic fan and take care of repairs after squirrels made a hole to get into our attic. Conrad was quick to respond to our estimate call and gave us a clear picture of what was needed. While there was a slight delay in implementing, he took responsibility for it (which was so refreshing), and did such a fantastic job. He is super knowledgeable and diligent in execution. Conrad also shared his knowledge about other aspects of roofing, sidings, and industry in general. He is professional, courteous, and humane in communication.

Review of siding job by US Exterior Chicago My experience with Conrad of US Exterior Chicago was all good. He came out to give an estimate and review what I was thinking for new siding on my building. He helped me with certain design decisions and promptly provided a price for the job. I had several more questions for him, and he came back to my building to discuss the job further. After that, he adjusted the price quote to reflect the additional items that I wanted. I feel like his pricing was competitive and fair. Once we settled on everything, I paid the down payment, and he ordered the materials. The materials were in stock pretty fast, actually too fast. I had to stall him for about two weeks because I was going to be out of town a couple of times. We scheduled a date for him to begin, and the crew of 6 showed up at 7:15 AM on that date. It was a vinyl siding job for the second floor of my building. The first floor of the building is brick, and they also wrapped all of the windows and a couple of doors within the brick area. Otherwise, the main part of the siding job was the entire 2nd floor. The building is a simple rectangle with the exception of one side of the building, which was very narrow. It was only approximately 18” between the buildings. They managed to get their ladder jacks into the small space and complete the narrow side. The crew that worked on the building was very professional. There were about six of them total, and they worked very well together and cleaned up after themselves. After the first day, they were about halfway finished with the job, and they cleaned up and removed all of their debris when they left. The next day they showed up and finished off the entire job. There were only a couple of spots on the two awnings that they reinstalled that did not get caulked completely. I requested a couple of tubes of caulking from Conrad because I wanted to finish it off myself. He brought over the caulking a few days later, and I paid the remaining balance of the job. If I were going to do any type of siding or roofing job, I would certainly trust Conrad and his crews to do the job properly and professionally. I am very happy with the job they did!

I had really good experience with US Exterior. Conrad was nice easy going guy, first time i called for an estimate he showed up the same day. After the job was done something was making noise up on the roof called Conrad he showed up in two hours climbed on my roof and solved the problem (vent damper was making noise) Other companies I contacted wouldn’t even go up on the roof because its a three flat its high.
