Celebrating the holidays in the city is always beautiful and there’s tons of other events in and and out Detroit that deliver on holiday magic
Honestly my favorite thing to do is find a nearby rooftop or riverfront facing balcony to watch the fireworks. It’s so cool from an elevated viewpoint it looks like a 3D pop-up book.
11/10 must go for any summertime bucket list in the city.

Every time I go to this I feel like I’m in a small town watching the big tree go bright, so much fun and a great time to be downtown for some holiday cheer!

So much fun!! It’s like the traditional riding around neighborhoods looking at decorations and trees through windows but there’s like a hundred trees twinkling and glowing all in one spot.
PLUS it’s nice and toasty with food & refreshments.

Have gone to Turkey Trot with my family for the last couple years after we prep all our sides & set the turkey to marinate for dinner.
It’s such a great time and just oozes feel good holiday spirit! Love seeing this city like this.

Just came back from this today and seriously had so much fun!
Pro tip is to definitely double up on socks put some hand warmer packets in between your sock layers to keep your toes warm. I did that + put some in my mittens and it was perfect!!
