Sensitive Skin Moisturizers cover photo collage
Sensitive Skin Moisturizers
Still working on this one. As someone with sensitive skin who gets occasional breakouts, irritations, some summer chafing, and more here are some tried and true and related moisturizers that I use regularly for moisture and specifically for breakouts chafing and treating hyperpigmentation, heat rashes and all the eczema psoriasis and skin sensitivity related things. Feel free to add your reccs as well. I have used a ton of things from childhood til now. Some of these use trial and error and are hail marys when youre really suffering from itchiness or other aspects of dry irritated and inflamed skin. Some solutions are not topical but this seems like the best space to put these reccs in one place. Disclaimer not all of these will work for every body. Some of these work for awhile then stop working and I have to use a different product. Unfortunately, this is just how it is when you have sensitive skin and inflammation. If you find yourself having an occasional breakout then these solutions may work for you too but could be environmental caused more than hormonal, gut/lymph, and scent/endocrine related . I recommend that if you have a lot of inflammatory skin issues to look at changing your diet and incorporating anti inflammatory foods and herbs as well as gut healing things. If you would like a separate list of those reccs that have shown to be helpful sometimes please comment so I can know to make that next. Current fave RECCS: roundlab birch juice moisturizer for smoothing out bumpy eczema/rash skin and provides some itch relief, Topicals faded soap bar is healing the darkness from my rash scars quicker than anything else Ive used ever. Still takes time but seems more effective than even the serum. Works even mid rash to prevent and clear hyperpigmentation rashes leave.

So you have discoloration/ hyperpigmentation? cover photo collage
So you have discoloration/ hyperpigmentation?
I will take my time to update this list but as someone who has had different forms of discoloration facial and body wise from scars, breakouts, eczema and what have you, these are products that do very well at targetting this. Most are what I have used but will include what have worked for others with different forms of discoloration as well as it may be of help to you too. If you have additional reccomendations feel free to comment them as well so we can help each other out. For facial scarring I did notice better results when pairing with an spf which is reccomended with most products that contain vitamin C which is a natural brightener in many various skin treatments. DISCLAIMER: None of these products have been instantaneous for me. They all have taken time to get results. The one product I felt was semi quick in helping some with acne scarring and breakouts is discontinued. Please consult a medical professional or dermatologist for persisting discoloration and do your own research. If you have extreme hyper pigmentation or breakouts already then you could have a sensitivity to active ingredients in these products so do not desperately purchase them without doing your own research and seeing how those with similar conditions respond to these products. I hope you find a solution that works for you! Also a lot of these treatments are on the higher end side but there are some semi affordable ones in which I will say its more cost effective in the note to help those who are more money minded with their skincare.
