So much to see, love and experience! Next time I'll plan a week at least to take in all the beauty 😍 A must visit when visiting northern MN!!
Gooseberry Falls State Park | Minnesota DNR
While in Detroit Lakes & on the hunt for the amazing Dambo Trolls don't forget to take in the magnificent sculptures!! So cool!
Ortenstone Gardens & Sculpture Park
Great trails & beautiful waterfall! Totally worth it for a day trip.
Ramsey Park / Cansayapi in Redwood Falls MN
Peaceful trails & so many beautiful views of Mille Lacs Lake. Great place to camp!
Father Hennepin State Park
One of my new favorite places to take in the Mississippi River while out on my walks. Those who love to canoe will love this stop while out on the river!
Mississippi Overlook Park
Visited here for the waterfall ❤️ Loved walking the trails through the wooded area. Peaceful. One hill really got me - steep! Great workout though for sure. Even the deer were close to the trail leisurely hanging out munching on the grass.

I've been to so many rock concerts here! Awesome memories past & future. I love smaller venues so I can be up close & really be in it without being buried in a mosh pit (but also have the chance to be in that pit!)
First Avenue - Your Downtown Danceteria Since 1970
Another fav “go-to” smaller venue that we love to frequent for rock shows. We have favorite spots to be for great sound & views when we're not in the pit.

Such a cool outdoor experience and atmosphere to see a variety of music genres. Amphitheaters are now one of my new favorite places to go to & this one is closer to home for me. Even for other fun events!

It's like stepping back in time with the historic underground “speakeasy” vibe & vintage decor. Free peanuts & popcorn, good food & drinks. Friendly staff & atmosphere. When I was there I got to enjoy some good live music.

Delicious food & atmosphere. Affordable with very nice food portions. Great menu options. I could eat here frequently. So good!

Retro vibe! I love going here for the burgers and the malt shakes. Terrific place to bring the kids & grandkids to.

I have too many favorites here! I do love the Brown Sugar Cheddar Burger with a side of sweet potato fries or seasoned ranch fries & a tasty cocktail drink. Loaded Totchos (bacon, cheddar & chive) YUM!!
