Our household goods focus on sustainability, longevity and the health of everyone around us (including our pets). In the long run, you'll find that these products save you time, money and energy (by not having to run around and buy new filters, new a...
We have this Dyson Vacuum in both our investment property and our home, and it's FANTASTIC! I recommend this vacuum to anyone who has pets, who wants to be more sustainable and eco-friendly, and anyone looking for a cordless vacuum.
I previously had a Miele, and while that is a respectable Vacuum brand and company, I didn't enjoy lugging the retractable cord around while going from room to room.
What I really like about this Dyson (and others): The filters are washable, so you don't have to spend money incessantly on filters and then throw them away, which brings me to my second point: WE LOVE the sustainability factor. I also happen to love...
Compared to other vacuums, the Dyson vacuum pays for itself; No Bags, No New filters needed, lasts a long time (10 years at least) and comes with a warranty.
We're very grateful to be able to afford a Dyson vacuum and I know they can be pricey, so I do duggest thinking about it and pricing it out… you'll find this will save you a lot of money in return, especially if you have pets (vacuuming up those hair...
Another great option if you're in a pinch for cash, yet still would like a Dyson, is that Dyson has a really great refurbishing program. If you'd like to purchase a refurbished Dyson I highly suggest doing so through their website (you can use this l...
(We haven't had any of our Dyson's break on us, we did have a tenant steal ours though! So that shows just how good (and valuable) they are.)

When we purchased our Tushy, it was a few years ago now, and we loved it so much.. WE PURCHASED AS SECOND ONE!
Read till the end to find out what to do during SHARK WEEK.
Megan and I went through a few factors, thoughts and ideas before purchasing a Tushy. We looked at our options and even researched other bidets… WE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT… neither one of us had ever had a bidet before.
This was a completely new experience, and some of the factors that we had considered are:
- Cost of Bidet vs. What we spent on Toilet Paper (would we really be saving money?)
- Cleanliness (is it clean to use a bidet? what if it sprays poop somewhere lol? what do you wipe with? - we had a lot of questions).
- Will we continue buying toilet paper for guests, or provide clean towels or reusable towelettes? (These questions came after we knew about bidet towels).
- Health (is it healthier?)
After further research, not only did we learn that having a bidet means your parts are cleaner.. it also means they're happier.
We also opted in for Organic Cotton Towels from Winners, because we wanted something as natural as possible to wipe ourselves with (rather than the stuff filled with dyes).
Upon learning more about bidets and the history of bidets, it's actually a lot cleaner to use a bidet vs using toilet paper. Just thinking about all the little bits of toilet paper in my bits gives me the heebie jeebies lol
I also decided to calculate, on average, how much we spent on toilet paper, which included mostly average months where we had no guests staying with us or family visiting. We found that we had been spending around $400-$499 on toilet paper per year j...
With all of that in mind, it was a no-brainer for us to purchase a Hello Tushy for $299 USD.
And we still continue to purchase toilet paper for our guests and on period months, as we didn't want to put our guests through the experience of not having access to TP, AND I didn't want to put myself through piles of laundry during shark week.
Oh and! In the past, we purchased those large packs of toilet paper from Costco for our guests and during moon cycles, which would last us about 3-4 months (if not more). That's a very rough estimate, they may last us more.
And upon purchasing a Tushy we actually found ourselves looking for the Hello Tushy knob in public restrooms 😂
Tushy Bidet
This is the original and classic Hello Tushy Bidet, which we have one of; the other is an upgraded spa version, which is also great.
Highly suggest, such an incredible purchase and has saved us so much in time, money and energy when it comes to a minimal toilet paper life. Not only that, but you really do feel cleaner - think of this as your bum getting a wee little shower every t...

Highly suggest and recommend ANY of the Santevia Mineral Water filters for your space. If you have the space and the resources, I suggest investing in the countertop one!
Megan and I have been super happy with ours for MANY years, and have since replaced one of our older ones, upgrading the model, and keeping the older model (still usable) at our investment property.
The water tastes fresh and amazing, and I like knowing that good quality minerals go into our body and bloodstream by drinking this water.
You are 70-80% water, and it's so important not only to keep hydrated but to invest in the quality of the water you drink.
Other perks to having the Santevia water filters, especially if you get the smaller pitcher-type version (great for the countertop or inside your fridge), are: The mineral contents within each filter (replaceable every 2-3 months) can be used in your...
See if you can find an option that already comes with filters and or purchase these on a sale day - TOTALLY WORTH IT!

My partner and I fell in love with the Lomi as soon as we saw it - IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST AD haha
It intrigued us, and we loved the idea of being able to turn our compost into “soil”.
We've had a Lomi for over a year now, and I'm being totally honest here, we have not used it AS MUCH as we had planned to. We used it daily when we first purchased it, and that went on for 4-6 months. Then we moved into a new space, and kind of lost ...
We are back in eco-friendly (yes! the building was built with sustainability and the planet in mind) living, and I think the Lomi will be the perfect addition (once again) for our little family. We're looking forward to being able to turn our compost...
Something that hindered us from using our Lomi again in the last place was that we didn't know how to properly use it. There was truly a lot of trial and error. We would put the Lomi “soil” right on top of our plants, and it would mould… and we would...
HOWEVER, there is a process, and I am known not to read additional instructions or at the very least not enjoy it lol… It was a lot more trial and error for me.
I highly suggest reading reviews (and instructions lol) and watching some videos if you plan on using this within your garden or on your plants.
HERE'S WHAT I KNOW:
If you are adding the Lomi “soil” to your actual soil, add it to the BAG and mix it in. Let it be in the bag for 3-4 weeks, mixing it regularly every week or so. This helps the Lomi Soil properly integrate with your plant soil :) And then it shouldn'...
(is it mold or mould?)
Other great uses: It's great for sustainability, even if you're not using the Lomi soil! It reduces your compost from one big pile into a finer dust/soil consistency with fibers and such, meaning, if you were to compost that, or place it in your bin,...

Fantastic All-Natural Cleaner for your home; It's super strong, so I suggest mixing it with water, or using a little amount with baking soda when cleaning :)
Does a great job in cleaning the bathtub and keeps the stainless steel faucets and other elements nice and shiny.
Great for disinfecting as well, and cleaning up your coins if you're into that sort of thing. I used to put pennies in a jar with some vinegar and just watch all the bubbles go, eating away at the blueing and greening in the copper - fun science expe...
I'm sure this would make a kick ass volcano with your kids ;)
Allen's Double Strength Cleaning Vinegar, 2.5-L
This is HANDS-DOWN our favourite laundry detergent. A little goes a long way, and the Costco size one will last up to 215 loads :)
I would say if you're sensitive to smells, definitely purchase the unscented ECOS detergent. We have tried the lavender and the light citrus one (which I think is the only one that I've seen at Costco so far), and they are both wonderful.
When you shop at Costco, you get the most bang for your buck, especially when it comes to natural products like this one.
Clothes come out fresh and clean without much of a scent afterwards. We use about a teaspoon- 1 tablespoon, depending on machine size and the load, and it does a fantastic job in getting all of our items cleaned.

Kangen water clears and moisturizes skin wonderfully, and the water tastes delicious
What is Kangen Water?
HIGHLY suggest the instant pot for all of your cooking needs. Love it as a rice cooker and have made many incredible soups and stews. I have yet to try the yogurt or cake feature.

I've had a blendtec for YEARS, we are almost at 3,000 uses. Reliable, works for many years, and will definitely hold the test of time. Love it.
