A hidden gem, definitely visit if you’re in the area. A great place to go on a walk through the trails. You can go camping and see some wildlife. Beautiful scenery!

Sioux City Farmers Market
Gorgeous, relaxing area to go on a walk, fishing, have a BBQ, see the rolling hills and beautiful lake. They also have parks for both children and dogs. So that way you can bring the whole family!

McCook Lake
They have two sections for large and small dogs, but then they have two other sections beyond those on both sides - that open up into a massive area for your dogs to run free!
Bacon Creek Park

Sergeant Floyd Monument
Great gathering place to hold events like summer concerts. Has a nice little rose garden.
Grandview Park Bandshell
Great place by the lake which offers well maintained trails with different views. Children have a playground to enjoy. Has beautiful wildlife.
Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve
Beautiful area with a garden and gorgeous flowers. Great place to walk and see the river. It's usually used to take pictures for homecoming/prom, Quinceañera and graduation.
