Salem is a very walkable city and dog-friendly. While they can't go inside, there's so much to see and do outdoors, we didn't mind.

Surface trails and Campground are dog friendly, but the caves are strictly off limits to all but service dogs. Day boarding is available nearby so you can still see the caves!

This is a cute little park we've stopped at a few times. Smaller, but with nice picnic areas and easy trails to walk out your kinks on a long trips. Look for the large Sundial sculpture!

The grounds are dog-friendly, but pets are not allowed in buildings. We enjoyed a picnic and took turns seeing the exhibits. The dogs enjoyed the many new smells!
