We walked the path around Jordon Pond. Stunning views! Some sections were challenging for our dogs(standard poodle and pittie mix) and they had to be lifted over a few big rocks. But, they loved it!

We love it here! It's not as popular as the "main" park but so worth the drive over (or that the ferry!)... we've been several times and are always awed.

Acadia has mountains, forests, wetlands, salt water, freshwater, shell beaches, and the famous Sand Beach. Did my daughters visit with they were very young, fall in fully clothed and think it was a riot? Yes, yes, they did!

Just what it says- a loop that takes you to all the highlights. This is especially nice for an older family member who traveled with us. Allowed us to stop when and where she wants without exhausting her. Plenty of pull offs and parking lot.
