Some fun things to do for a summer day trip to Taylor's Falls, MN. This area offers fun for all ages and interests. Best for those who like an old-timey vibe and can appreciate a small town.
Map
Great spot for a summertime lunch on the patio (I recommend a classic cheeseburger basket with a root beer float). With 50s and 60s music playing in the background and pink poodle skirts swirling by, you'll feel like you traveled back in time.
The Drive In Restaurant
I remember going on field trips to Fawn-Doe-Rosa in elementary school and it's still just as fun. My son loves being able to feed the ducks, deer, goats, and the many other species of animals that live there.
FAWN-DOE-ROSA
A beautifully scenic park full of history. The trails along the cliff provide some great photo ops!
Whitewater State Park
Large selection of new and vintage (not especially priced to resell, though). A must stop!
River Alley Shoppes
Treasures sourced locally or made by local artists. This is where you'll find your one-of-a-kind pieces!
Shopping, Retail - With August LLC - Taylors Falls, Minnesota
Another gem! Unique finds, Scandinavian treasures, handmade items, antiques, and more. Be sure to enjoy a cup of Northwoods Roasted Coffee while you're there, too.
Almelund Mercantile
Such a fun activity for hot summer days. You can find me on the Lazy River 😉
Wild Mountain
Canoeing on the St. Croix is a great outdoor activity for the family or a fun date in nature. Make sure to bring your camera for those bald eagle photo ops.
