Depressing but also a little philosophical in a way. A man who can’t feel in with society, it goes deep about his past and his present. It’s really good but can be a hard read

I made my dad read it after I did and he was in a depression for three days. This book is so sad it’s almost like a Mitski song
I'm Thinking of Ending Things: A Novel: Reid, Iain
Another book I read to prepare for the on screen version. Her internal monologues are so much more impactful and sad compared to the show
