I used to stack cookies in random Tupperware and pray they survived the car ride. These boxes have clear windows so people see exactly what they're getting, and the structure actually protects everything inside.

Nothing kills a pretty box faster than a giant grease stain bleeding through the bottom. Learned that lesson with my butter cookies, which basically turned a white box translucent in twenty minutes.

A plain box becomes an actual gift the second you tie something around it. I went from handing people a bare white box to getting compliments on my packaging just by adding a ribbon.

Started slapping a little sticker on each box and suddenly my cookies went from homemade to home bakery. It's a tiny detail that takes five seconds but people notice immediately.

First year I did a cookie swap I forgot bags for leftovers, ran out of tape, and had no way to keep frosted cookies from sliding around. These are the things you don't think about until you desperately need them.
