We went through a phase of flimsy poster boards that buckled the second he tried to glue anything on them. These actually hold up when a seven-year-old is aggressively taping things to them at the kitchen table.

Nothing kills the vibe faster than flipping a poster over and seeing marker soaked through to the back. We ruined a placemat learning that lesson.

Hot glue was a mistake. Glue sticks dried too slow. Regular tape peeled off mid-presentation. Here is what finally worked without me scraping residue off the dining table.

The poster went from homework to a thing my son brags about once we added stickers and borders. His little sister now asks when she can make one too.

Half the battle is picking a book short enough to finish but interesting enough to talk about. These are the ones my son has voluntarily presented more than once.

My son wanted to print actual book covers and character pictures to glue on his posters. Our old printer was out of ink every single time. Fixed that problem fast.

Poster supplies used to live in six different drawers and a grocery bag under the sink. Took us twenty minutes just to find everything. Now it takes thirty seconds.

We accidentally turned this into a whole family tradition by adding a few small touches. Now my son gets nervous-excited before his presentations, like it actually matters to him. And it does.
