I love the holidays I love creating a warm and inviting place for my family and friends to retreat from the chaos of the world. I like to create a sense of magic and wonder in my home and my goal is the captivate the attention of my loved ones and guests. This is how I do it. Some years I gonfull force and do it up big and sometimes it's just one room that holds all the wonder. Your home is an extension if you and how wonderful to create space for yourself and loved ones. It doesn't matter if you have 1000 to spend or 100 . You can always find something to help create space that honors your self expression and helps others to feel the spirit of the holidays and even all that it embodies.

I photograph as a hobby. Sometimes I submit it to be sold as stock photography. And I've had my photos at Getty Images. Lake Michigan is my favorite thing to photograph. I have 10 plus years of photos of the lake. It's interesting to see the same view photographed over many years My gift to you is the COPYRIGHT FREE USE OF THESE PHOTOS. Pint them, save them, create with them as much as you like.

Your home is your sanctuary, your safe haven, your refuge from this mad, mad, world. Make it yours through self expression. It doesn't have to be a big project. Start little by little, here and there. A can of paint, a strategically placed still life, a stack of your favorite books on the coffee table. Before you know it, your place will be screaming your name and calling you home. Your space says a lot about you. It tells others who you are and it makes you feel good when it's authentically you. For me, it's all about color and texture. Soft comfort and beauty is my style for now.

Sometimes called the "Art Coast" of Michigan because it's an artist community, with galleries, art fairs, theatres and studios galore. Sometimes called the "White Coast" of Michigan for the expanse of undeveloped sand dunes that line the water's edge. Sometimes called a "Premier" vacation spot for its diversity of people. Sometimes called a quaint little drinking town with a boating problem because of all the incredible culinary restaurants and drinking establishments located there. But me? I just call it HOME 💜

I love playing my bass guitar and learning about music. I waited until I was 56 to learn how to play. You can teach an old dog new tricks and, I'm here to prove it. Come to find out, this is what I should have been doing all along. Better late than never!

What you wear does make a difference! Whether we admit it or not, it's true. Good clothes can do so many things. It can land that job, it can break hearts, it can get you noticed, it can make you feel like a million bucks. Clothing can make you feel beautiful, sexy, comfortable, cool, and it can give you confidence. The list is endless. Good clothes don't have to be expensive either.
