Our first year we used a tiny cork square and ran out of space by December 8th. These fit a whole month's worth of cards without looking like a cluttered mess.

Regular thumbtacks punched holes right through our photo cards last year. Spent a solid hour finding options that hold cards without wrecking them.

Stringing cards across a doorway or mantel was the single best thing I did last December. Took five minutes and every guest commented on it.

Some cards are too good for a pushpin. The handmade one from grandma or the first card from a new baby. Those get their own spotlight.

Cards on a bare wall looked flat until I added a strand of lights behind them. Now the whole corner of our living room feels like a holiday scene from a movie.

January rolls around and suddenly you have 30 cards with no plan. I used to shove them in a shoebox. Now they actually survive until next year when I want to look back.
