I superglued my first cheap magnet strip and it fell off within a day, taking a shelf of vitamins with it. These three stuck hard and haven't budged in months — even on the inside of a glossy cabinet door.

Before the magnetic strip era, I tried every little container and tin. These still earn a spot because sometimes you need pins on the go, not stuck to a wall.

Once I got the magnetic strip working, I realized half my cabinet still needed help. These containers caught everything the magnet couldn't.

Realized my magnetic strip was basically a display case for every small metal tool I own. Upgraded from the janky tweezers I'd had since college and now they hang right at eye level.

Renting an apartment meant I couldn't drill into anything without losing my deposit. These adhesives held strong in a humid bathroom, which honestly shocked me.

Bobby pins were just the beginning of my problem. Claw clips, barrettes, and headbands were taking over every surface in my bathroom like they were colonizing it.

Once I started organizing, I couldn't stop. Each of these took less time than making coffee and made my bathroom feel twice as big.

A magnetic strip collects dust and hair faster than you'd think. Learned that the gross way after ignoring mine for two months.
