Smoked-in-house barbecue in Celestial Park - brisket, ribs and cornbread that would hold up outside a theme park. Portions are big enough to split, which is rare at Universal prices.
The Oak & Star Tavern
Dark Universe's pub with the burning windmill blades overhead - the pretzel with beer cheese and the elevated pub grub earn the hype, and the monster-themed drinks are half the fun. Go late; the vibe gets better after dark.
Burning Blade Tavern
The giant Viking dining hall on the Isle of Berk - roasted meats, giant turkey legs and actual mead under dragon-filled rafters. The seating capacity is huge, so it's my rainy-day and peak-lunch safety pick.
Mead Hall
Dragon-fire rotisserie chicken and flame-grilled skewers next to Hiccup's Wing Gliders - the smell alone pulls you in off the ride exit. Outdoor tables have the best view of the gliders launching.
Spit Fyre Grill
The Parisian cafe in the Wizarding World - butterbeer creme brulee and French pastries canal-side. This is where you get your butterbeer fix at Epic; the outdoor tables by the water are the most peaceful spot in the whole land.
Café L’air De La Sirène™
The wizarding tavern with a dark-magic twist - hearty French fare and themed cocktails in a moody Place Cachee hideaway. Table service, so it's a legit sit-down break from the Ministry crowds.
Le Goblet Noir | Universal Studios Florida™
Pan-Asian table service in Celestial Park with a dragon centerpiece that breathes mist - the firecracker shrimp and ramen bowls are the picks. Quietest reservation to snag of the sit-downs.
The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant
The rooftop bar at Helios Grand overlooking the entire park - order a cocktail at sunset and watch the Celestial Park fountains from above. Open to non-hotel-guests, which almost nobody realizes.

Berk's rowdy quick-service - hearty stews, fish and chips, and ‘gruel’ that's way better than the name. Grab it and eat by the lagoon while the dragons fly overhead on Wing Gliders.

Epic has free water refill stations in every world - bring this and skip $6 bottles all day. The 32oz with a straw lid clips to any park bag and survives being dropped on concrete, ask me how I know.
