Batuu's hangar-bay kitchen is shockingly good for theme park food - the Endorian fried chicken tip-yip is our kids' pick every single visit. Mobile order and eat upstairs where it's quieter.
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Book this exactly 60 days out - it's the hardest table in the park. One round of Fuzzy Tauntauns with the buzzing foam is a rite of passage; the atmosphere alone is worth the cover-free visit.
Oga's Cantina
Blue milk vs green milk is a family debate every trip - blue wins in our house. It's a dairy-free coconut-and-rice blend, so it doubles as a legit allergy-friendly treat in Batuu.
Milk Stand
You eat in a Cadillac under fake stars while B-movie trailers play - peak Disney weirdness. Come for the milkshakes and the atmosphere; book lunch, it's cheaper than dinner for the same menu.
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
Mom's fried chicken and the PB&J milkshake, served with a side of being scolded for elbows on the table. No reservation? Walk into the attached Tune-In Lounge for the same food at the bar.
50's Prime Time Café
Florida craft beers and a Bavarian pretzel with beer-cheese fondue in the quietest corner of the park. This is our adult pit stop while the kids do Runaway Railway for the third time.
BaseLine Tap House
The most underrated air-conditioned break in the park. The Mediterranean salad with chicken and the pub burger are far better than a place called Commissary has any right to serve.
ABC Commissary
Big shaded seating and solid burgers just steps from Star Tours. The prop-shop theming is fun, but the real secret is the carrot cake cookie hiding on the menu here.
Backlot Express
Hand-scooped ice cream on Sunset Boulevard, right before Tower of Terror. Get the brownie sundae in a fresh waffle cup and eat it while you wait for your Lightning Lane window.
Hollywood Scoops
Funnel cakes topped with soft-serve near the Indiana Jones theater. They're enormous - split the strawberry one and thank us later. Cash in a snack credit here if you're on the dining plan.
Epic Eats
The loaded hot dogs and fries by Echo Lake are a sleeper hit, and the shaded lakeside tables make it one of the calmest lunch spots in the park. Great mobile-order backup when Woody's line explodes.
Dockside Diner
This snack spinner saves us at least $20 in park snacks every visit. Load the compartments in the morning, hand it over during the Fantasmic wait, and enjoy the silence.
GoBe Kids Snack Spinner
Every quick-service window in the park hands out free cups of ice water - bring these and ask them to fill up instead of paying $4 a bottle. The bite valve survives being dropped on Sunset Blvd daily.
