Rope-drop breakfast here before the crowds hit Hogsmeade - the Great Feast platter is my go-to, and grabbing a frozen Butterbeer with your meal beats the cart lines all day.

Skip the Butterbeer carts and order at the Hog's Head bar instead - same frozen Butterbeer, a fraction of the wait, and they pour a proper Hog's Head Brew you can't get anywhere else.
Hog's Head Pub
Voted the world's best theme park restaurant for good reason - book a lunch reservation, ask for a table by the water, and get the pad thai. White-tablecloth quality at quick-service-adjacent prices.
Mythos Restaurant
The most underrated sit-down in either Universal park - the fajitas and the Port of Entry nachos are legit, it takes reservations, and there's a full bar at Backwater. Easy walk-in most afternoons.
Confisco Grille
Best quick-service in the park, hands down - the rotisserie chicken with rice and beans is a real meal, and the floor-to-ceiling windows put you right next to the River Adventure splashdown.
Thunder Falls Terrace
Solid burgers right next to Kong, but the real move is the toppings bar - load up on grilled mushrooms and onions for free. The upstairs seating is usually empty even at peak lunch.
