LEGOLAND Florida in Winter Haven is the ultimate theme park for families with kids ages 2-12, just 45 minutes from Orlando and Kissimmee. From coasters like The Dragon to the incredible Miniland USA and the historic Cypress Gardens, these are the rid...
Map
This is our home park and we still find something new every visit. Buy tickets online ahead of time - gate prices are painful and the online calendar deals can save you $30+ per person.
LEGOLAND® Florida Resort
The classic LEGOLAND coaster and the perfect first ‘big’ ride for kids - it winds through a castle with LEGO scenes before the outdoor drop. My kids ask to ride it three times in a row every single trip.
The Dragon
A wooden coaster that's actually smooth enough for little ones - the dinosaur builds along the queue keep kids entertained while you wait. It's short but sweet, and re-rides are usually easy on weekdays.
Coastersaurus
The biggest thrill in the park - a proper roller coaster with a race-day storyline that older kids love. If your crew is 42 inches and up, hit this one first before lines build.
The Great LEGO® Race
Home of NINJAGO The Ride, where you throw fireballs with hand gestures and battle for the high score - our family gets seriously competitive on this one. Don't skip the outdoor training course either.
LEGO® NINJAGO® World | LEGOLAND® Florida Resort
An indoor laser-blaster dark ride through an Egyptian temple - basically LEGOLAND's answer to Buzz Lightyear, and the AC break is a lifesaver in summer. Aim for the scarab targets, they're worth the most points.
Lost Kingdom Adventure
Little kids drive slow safari jeeps past life-size LEGO elephants, lions and giraffes - the animal builds are genuinely impressive. Perfect for the under-6 crowd who aren't tall enough for the coasters yet.
Safari Trek
Miniature Washington DC, NYC, Vegas and Florida landmarks built from millions of bricks - adults honestly linger here longer than the kids. Look for the hidden jokes the builders tucked into every scene.
MINILAND USA
The original 1936 botanical gardens tucked inside the park, complete with the giant banyan tree and Southern belles history. It's a peaceful shady walk when everyone needs a break from the rides.
Cypress Gardens
A real boat ride through the old Cypress Gardens canals hunting for pirate treasure - it uses the actual waterways the park was famous for decades ago. Low thrill, high charm, and the whole family can ride together.
Pirate River Quest
Kids 6-13 drive real mini electric cars on an actual road course with traffic lights and roundabouts, then earn a LEGOLAND driver's license. It's consistently my kids' most-requested attraction in the whole park.
Ford Driving School
A flying-theater ride on Emmet's triple-decker couch with a huge wraparound screen - it's LEGOLAND's most impressive tech and totally worth the wait. Sit middle row for the best effect.
THE LEGO® MOVIE™ Masters of Flight
A whole separate park next door built for the preschool crowd - everything is designed so kids under 5 can actually ride. Combo tickets with LEGOLAND are the way to go if you have littles.
PEPPA PIG Theme Park Florida
Florida heat at a theme park is no joke - a spill-proof bottle each kid can clip to a bag saves you from $6 park drinks all day. Refill stations are all over LEGOLAND.
CamelBak Eddy+ Kids Water Bottle w/ Bite Valve
Clips right onto the stroller or a shirt collar and runs all day on a charge. Between the fan and shade breaks, our summer visits went from meltdown city to actually fun.
