The best fish and chips in any Orlando theme park, full stop. Get the Fisherman's Pie if you're hungrier, and pair it with a Wizard's Brew. The dark wood-beamed dining room feels straight out of the films.
Leaky Cauldron™
Butterbeer soft-serve exists ONLY here, and it beats the drink version in July. My other favorites: Earl Grey & Lavender and the sticky toffee pudding flavor. Get it in a souvenir sundae glass if you're feeling fancy.
Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour
Classic 50s diner straight out of American Graffiti, with the vintage cars parked outside to prove it. The Mel-t patty melt is the move, and the outdoor tables are prime real estate for the nightly lagoon show.
Mel's Drive-In
A proper Irish pub hiding in the New York section - table service, cold Guinness, and the Guinness beef stew is legit. The Scotch eggs are my guilty pleasure. Way easier to book than you'd think; do it in the app.
Finnegan's Bar & Grill
The park's other sit-down gem, in the San Francisco waterfront section. Fresh fish, a killer lobster roll, and giant aquarium windows the kids stare at the whole meal. Quietest AC break in the park at lunch.
Lombard's Seafood Grille
Solid burgers, but the real reason to come: the free toppings bar. Load up on grilled mushrooms and onions and you've upgraded a standard park burger into something worth the calories. Earthquake-themed decor is a fun bonus.
Richter's Burger Company
My go-to breakfast stop right inside the gates - grab a croissant and cold brew here instead of fighting the Starbucks line. The turkey and brie croissant at lunch is quietly one of the best cheap eats in the park.
San Francisco Pastry Company
Big portions, quick line, and pizza that's better than it needs to be. The spaghetti and meatballs is the value play in the whole park, and there's tons of indoor seating for a thunderstorm hideout.
Louie's Italian Restaurant
Modeled after the TODAY show studio, and lowkey the best breakfast in the park - avocado toast, overstuffed croissant sandwiches, and real espresso. Grab it on your way in; it's steps from the entrance.
TODAY Cafe
The most Instagrammable food in the park - banana everything, the Carl's Crabby Patty, and desserts almost too cute to eat. Kids lose their minds here. Mobile order ahead; it gets slammed at lunch.
Illumination’s Minion's Cafe
The stand New Yorkers line up for - fresh-made crepes both sweet and savory. The strawberry Nutella is the classic, but the savory chicken pesto eats like a real lunch. Watch them make it right in front of you.
Central Park Crêpes
Dockside drinks and snacks under Bruce the shark from Jaws - one of the last pieces of the old ride still standing. Frozen drinks, hand-dipped corn dogs, and shaded water views. A perfect afternoon reset spot.
Chez Alcatraz
Diagon Alley's drink cart most people walk right past. Beyond Butterbeer there's Otter's Fizzy Orange Juice (the cinnamon-sugar rim!) and Fishy Green Ale with popping boba. Try one weird wizard drink - that's an order.
The Hopping Pot
Real talk: park drinks are $6+ each and the Florida sun is relentless. Universal lets you bring a filled water bottle, and there are refill stations everywhere. This Owala pays for itself before lunch on a family trip.
