Continuous Glucose Monitor
Here are some products that have helped me out while I had a continuous glucose monitor!
Glucomart's overpatches are a MUST for me when I am wearing my continuous glucose monitor! I got the Lilo and Stitch overpatches and they are so incredibly soft and didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all!!
These help me clean the area that I am going to apply my continuous glucose monitor to.
Tegaderm helps me out when I need a bit more waterproof coverage like if I am going swimming all day or if I am going to the beach!
POTS Must Haves
Here are some items that are must haves for me to help me manage my POTS!
When it gets hot out, these towels are a LIFESAVER for me! They are excellent at staying cool and I put them on the back of my neck to rapidly cool down my body.
When I need electrolytes fast, I trust Liquid IV to get me back to where I need to be. These work wonders for my body and lemon lime is definitely my favorite flavor!
An at home blood pressure cuff is an absolute MUST for me. When I feel lightheaded or other symptoms, I am easily able to check my blood pressure to make sure that I don't need to get medical care.
A pulse oximeter is a must have for me to check out my heartrate and blood oxygen level at home. With the amount that my heartrate changes, I find it important to be able to keep track of my heartrate.
First Aid Must Haves
Nexcare bandages are one of the few brands that I have been able to wear with my sensitive skin. I use their waterproof bandaids often!
I LOVE these bandaids SO much. They are so soft and flexible and they are one of my go to brands for bandaids.
Gauze pads are a NEED for me because when I need to clean my wounds I need something fast and sterile and these are perfect!
This is one of my favorite antiseptic cleaners and as a bonus, it doesn't burn! I use this weekly and it has truly been a gamechanger.
Mobility Aids
I have these canes on my wishlist because of how absolutely beautiful they are! I am so excited to buy one of these very soon :)
I got my second mobility aid from Walgreens and I am not turning back! The pattern is beautiful and it has held up remarkably well even with daily use!
Compression Items
My compression socks are lifesavers on the days when my legs just don't want to function properly. They also come in handy to prevent swelling on long travel days!
My handpain sometimes threatens to wipe me out, but my compression hand gloves are game changers!
These are a gamechanger for when I don't need the full support of knee braces, but I still need something for a bit of support.
As someone with weak ankles, it has been so helpful to have these on the days that my ankles are weaker.
