Slippers are super important they keep your feet off the ground when walking around or sitting with family in a car or on the couch. I wouldn't recommend wearing your walk around shoes for the bathroom or shower but that's totally up to you.

Bath robes can be a great addition for comfort. They can be worn after a shower, when getting out of bed, or even in bed. Its a nice warm comfort item that you can have with you whenever you want.

When I brought my toothbrush and toothpaste. I used a travel size toothpaste and a throw away toothbrush. It was less I had to travel with and I didnt have to worry about cleaning it after having it in a hospital for 2 days.
