This list is full of things that encourage little ones to build, move, pretend, explore, and actually play. I wanted a mix of toys my son will love right now and things that can grow with him over the next few years, from magnetic tiles and dress-up sets to sports toys, outdoor play, and a few bigger gifts that will get plenty of use. These are the toys and room pieces I’d genuinely choose for a busy little boy who loves to be involved in everything.
