My fingernails were doing absolutely nothing for my scalp. I thought I was washing my hair. Turns out I was just moving shampoo around on top of my head while my roots stayed gunky underneath.

A scalp brush with the wrong shampoo is like mopping a floor with dirty water. Once I matched the right shampoo to the scrubbing, my hair felt lighter than it had in years.

Realized my scalp needed attention even on days I didn't wash my hair. These sit on your scalp, do their thing, and by next wash day the brush glides through so much easier.

Getting a good wash is only half the problem. If you don't protect your scalp after, you're back to square one in two days. These stretched my wash days from every other day to twice a week.

Once I started caring about my scalp, I realized my entire shower setup was working against me. Low water pressure, tangled hair, shampoo running into my eyes. Fixed all of it with a few cheap upgrades.

Realized I could scrub all day but if my scalp was dry and irritated from the inside out, no brush was going to fully fix things. Added a few things to my routine off the shelf and noticed real differences within a month.
