Heavy sunglasses were my worst enemy. They'd slide down before I even left the house. These weigh almost nothing and somehow stay put even when I'm sweating through a parking lot in August.

The moment I realized adjustable nose pads existed, I stopped buying random frames off the rack. Bending those little pads inward was the fix I never knew I needed.

Nobody told me that “Asian fit” or “low bridge fit” frames existed until I was 30. Once I tried them, every other pair I owned went straight into a drawer.

Regular sunglasses during anything more active than walking? Forget it. These wrap around enough to create a seal and they grip behind the ears like they mean it.

Squinting through cheap lenses gave me headaches every summer. Polarized lenses fixed the glare problem, and these specific frames fixed the sliding problem at the same time.

Most “unisex” sunglasses are built for medium to large heads. My narrow face made everything look like I borrowed my dad's glasses. These actually fit without looking comically oversized.

Sometimes you love a frame that doesn't quite fit. Instead of returning them, I started adding grip accessories. Some of these cost less than a coffee and fixed pairs I was about to give up on.
