I honestly love this movie--I think it's one of my top 10 movies of all time (yes, my partner mocks me for this). Original songs, enough spookiness, but not scary, that little chitter George makes.

This is the only Christmas movie I like. (I recognize that that makes me a monster.) This is a great movie that is heartwarming, but not cloying, and has a good amount of Bentley, the daschund.

I find the dudes somewhat grating, but then my kid surprises me with animal facts. Also: the Wild Kratts games on the PBS Kids app are pretty addictive.
