I have been coming here since I was a kid. Great beach on the coast. Grey and cold during the non summer months. Plenty of places to camp in the area.

Daniel's Broiler
If you are looking for a Mexican steakhouse, this is it. This is located south of Seattle but they have one located in Ballard as well. The food and atmosphere is great. It can get pretty busy at times and a bit smoky inside.
Asadero Prime
Jak's has a couple locations around. This one is located in the popular area of West Seattle on the main stip. A small spot but you will not be dissapointed with the food.
Jak's Grill
This is fine dining and proper clothing is required. The restaurant is beautiful and the food……yum!

I love this place so much!! It has exhibits like a zoo but then you can take a tram ride through the park to see the roaming animals. It's a drive from Seattle and closer to Mt. Rainier. Make it a day trip.
