This is my childhood horse! He has cushings disease and is being transitioned to a low starch diet now that I have him. He wasn't on a soaked diet before I got him a few months ago. He looks so much better now that he is.
Such a sweet guy. He's filling out nicely and still super active with this diet.

If your horse is on well-balanced commercial feeds or supplements, check iodine content before adding more. For easy keepers or forage-only diets, a small amount of iodized salt + balanced trace minerals can be very helpful for thyroid health.
