Our ceremony arch looked bare and sad during the evening rehearsal. Draping these behind it turned a wooden frame into something that made my mom cry before I even walked down the aisle.

Flat overhead lighting made our reception tables look like a cafeteria at the tasting. Swapping to Edison bulbs strung above gave everything that warm dinner-party vibe we were going for.

Wanted that ceiling-of-stars look over the dance floor but our tent was plain white canvas. Fairy lights turned it into something out of a movie for less than our bar tab.

Guests were literally tripping walking from the parking area to our ceremony spot during the rehearsal. Solar path lights fixed it overnight without running a single extension cord across the grass.

Our dance floor was a rented wooden platform in a field. Without overhead lighting it looked like we were dancing in a void. Globe lights strung above completely changed the energy.

Our venue had these gorgeous old oak trees that disappeared completely after sunset. Wrapping them in lights turned them into the focal point of every photo from the night.

The forecast changed four times the week of our wedding. Having waterproof lights meant I could stop refreshing my weather app every hour and actually enjoy the rehearsal dinner.

Half our tables were too far from outlets for plug-in lights. Battery operated ones meant every single table got that warm glow without extension cords snaking across the ground like trip hazards.

The awkward fifteen minutes between golden hour and full dark made our reception feel like someone forgot to turn the lights on. Dimmable strings let us gradually increase brightness so the transition felt natural and intentional.
