My hair was constantly breaking off due to heat and coloring and I revamped my haircare routine four years ago. These are the products and tools that I have settled and have on constant rotation currently. For reference, my hair is 2c naturally and I shampoo once a week and blow my hair out after my routine. I went from black box dye to now almost all dark blonde using foils courtesy of my wonderful hairdresser. I am naturally a dark auburn color. A word about the cover photo: My before photo is from October 2022 and the after was November 2025. Routine: ✨Shampoo ✨Olaplex 3 on towel dried hair ✨Deep conditioning mask for 20-40 mins ✨Hair in a towel for 1 hour ✨Then rough blow dry ✨Then blow dry brush My hair stays in the same state for at least a week (I’ve done two before). I also sleep in a long bonnet which helps keep my hair smooth. Tip: Dry shampoo before you go to bed around the scalp edges helps keep your hair from curling again.
