Bath time
My son has mostly grown out of his eczema, and we’ve started using scented products. I’m still cautious about what we use, but he hasn’t had any issues with this one.
It smells so good—and of course, it’s Paw Patrol, which is a bonus!
Suave Kids Paw Patrol 3-in-1 Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash, Adventure Bay Breeze
I’m not saying this is the reason my son’s bath toys haven’t molded, but they haven’t.
Bath Toy Organizer
These are so much fun in the tub and write really well on the tub walls.
No bathtub is complete without foam letters and numbers.
We’ve had no issues with these molding like most bath toys do.
Munchkin® Learn™ Letters and Numbers Toddler Bath Toy
Bath toys that don’t mold? Yes please.
These are so cute and don’t have holes in them so you don’t have to worry about them molding inside.
Tub Works® Construction Trucks Mold Free Bath Toys
We absolutely love these toys. They light up once they hit the water, and the lights turn off as soon as they’re out.
The fact that they don’t have holes is a huge win for me too — no water getting trapped means no mold worries.
Tub Works® Emergency™ Cars Light Up Bath Toys
Around age 2, my son randomly decided he only wanted to take showers. It didn’t last long and we eventually went back to tub baths, but these were a great investment during that phase to help keep him from slipping in the shower.
And I’m not going t...

This stuff is magic. My son has very fine hair and had a literal rat’s nest—it got so bad I had to make a haircut appointment.
The stylist used this spray and the knots were gone. I almost didn’t even get his hair cut because it detangled so easily,...
Much to my chagrin, I ended up having to allow my son to play on my iPhone and iPad.
These are my favorite kid-friendly apps that he loves.
And yes, they do have a price BUT they are completely ad-free and worth every penny.
I love Anywhere Teacher. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews—it’s been great for my son and I feel like it’s helped him get ahead before preschool. He already knows most of what he’ll be learning, and I like that it tracks his progress so I c...
Anywhere Teacher
Another great learning app. My son’s favorite feature is the reading section—it reads to him and he loves following along. Of course, nothing will ever replace our bedtime reading routine.
Khan Academy Kids
What I love about this app is how much freedom it gives for creativity. My son’s favorite worlds are the outer space and dinosaur ones.
Pok Pok | Award-winning, Montessori-inspired app for creative kids
Feeding
Let me tell you something—these cups are awesome. And when you find one with milk in it that’s been hiding under the couch for a week… you don’t mind throwing it away.
We tried a lot of sippy cups, but this one is our absolute favorite.
Parent's Choice Hard Spout Sippy Cup
I’m not someone who prioritizes organic over non-organic. I usually buy based on taste, convenience, and price.
These were a common snack in our house when my son was younger. He doesn’t really eat them anymore, but I remember liking them too — they...
Plum Organics® Teensy® Snacks Peach Soft Fruit Snacks
We use these all the time. Waffles go in the big section, strawberries or grapes in the smallest section, and a stick of cheese in the medium section. That’s basically my son’s “perfect meal.”
Parent's Choice 3 Compartment Section Plate
When he’s not using his hands, my son really likes using these forks. They’re easy for him to hold, and cleaning them is super simple.
NUK First Choice Kiddy Cutlery Toddler Forks Set
Picky eater? Same. It happens — no matter how hard you try, they have a mind of their own. While I’d rather he get his protein from whole foods, I do feel better knowing he actually asks for these and likes them.
I’m pretty sure my son liked the strawberry and mixed berry the best.
These were such an easy snack to take with us on trips.
Happy Baby Organics Yogis Freeze-Dried Snacks
We bought a lot of these from Walmart when my son was in his teething, feeding, and snacking stage. They were always easy to find in-store, and he really loved them.
Parent's Choice Yogurt Bites, Mixed Berry
I like buying the mixes instead of the bottles because you only use what you need and don’t have to worry about anything going to waste.
It’s also way more convenient to just grab a packet and a bottle of water when we’re out and about.
We tried A LOT of different diapers. And honestly, once my son got bigger but wasn’t potty trained yet, these were hands down the best for him for overnight.
Pampers Swaddlers Overnight Zzz Baby Diapers
These worked great during the day and at night.
Pampers Cruisers 360 Baby Diapers
Although he’s potty trained, we still play it safe at night. These work great for that extra protection at night. I love Rascals and was so excited for find these.
Rascals Absorbent Boys Nighttime Bedwetting Underwear
Playtime
I love this game. Seeing my son understand the concept and laughing and playing made the purchase worth while.
The main pieces are made of wood and are practically indestructible.
It’s definitely fun for the whole family and a great introduction to...
HABA My Very First Games - First Orchard
Our house isn’t big enough for a train table. Train tables are also super expensive.
I love this because the pieces are compatible with other wooden train pieces and fit great into 2 plastic shoe boxes.
Tiny Land 55PCS Wooden Train Set
Honestly what I love the best about these is the strap. It’s not as cheaply made as other toy binoculars and has held up very well.
I’ve looked through them and they work great.
Educational Insights GeoSafari Kidnoculars
What kid doesn’t love dinosaurs? My son gets it honest. His dad and I both loved dinosaurs growing up. In fact, if I hadn’t let his dad choose the nursery theme, it would’ve been dinosaurs.
These figures are very well made and provide loads of playt...
