Our favorite state parks to visit/camp at in Georgia.
Located in the North Ga mountains, great place for summer, but it’s also pretty in the fall. They have the lake with a beach area and you can rent pedal boats. Great place to camp!

Reed Bingham is located in southern Ga. This is a great one to stay at if you want to bring your boat and fish. They also have a beach area for swimming.

General Coffee is one of our favs! It’s quiet and relaxing. There are trails that run from the campground to the pond where you can fish or see all of the farm animals.

If you are wanting to hike, this is the state park for you. Gorgeous scenery with a ton of trails!
Cloudland Canyon State Park
Such a pretty state park! Love the waterfall. If camping is not really your thing, they also offer yurts.
High Falls State Park | Department Of Natural Resources Division
Beautiful state park! You can hike all the way to the gorge floor, but be warned..it is a strenuous hike back up!
Tallulah Gorge State Park | Department Of Natural Resources Division
If you want a more upscale state park, this one has a resort and golfing. Nice lake to fish, ski or tube.
Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park Camping
Tugaloo is a nice, quiet campground has has sites along the water which is nice!
