For me, going out for food is more about the venue, which I know sounds a little crazy but hear me out. I don't need the food to be fancy, but luckily these places are amazing all around.

This place is epic! You do need to show your ID at the reception to be let in. Once you are in, it's like a mini Disneyland for food

If you are visiting us from overseas the a meat pie is what you must try. These Pies are at the top of the game in Sydney.

This place has five stars on google. I know why... it's a casual Cafe with restaurant quality food. It's Middle Eastern and very tasty!
Le Flavour Eatery
You have to pick your timing with this place because they're very busy. You wouldn't know that there's a whole city around you when you come to eat at this amazing spot.

SkyFeast at Sydney Tower: Homepage
This may be the best buffet in Sydney. You have to dress in casual smart, nothing too fancy but also don't show up in a onesie. There's something yum for everyone here
Epicurean
I love taking guests here, it's unique! Upstairs is always a really yummy buffet that's indian/vegan. Then you can choose to book a ticket in their cozy movie theatre or go stroll down kings cross.
Govindas
The venue inside is very modern chic and clean. The food is incredible, the must try is the better chicken. I always see this place busy, meaning everyone returns.

These are places that are great for taking your visitors to or treating yourself. I really love going somewhere that offers some outdoors with good food. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Another fave spot in Sydney is this historic place. You can choose to see the valcluse house before or after the tea rooms. It's a good idea to book a sitting in case a wedding or bigger gathering is there. The clotted cream and scones are a must.
High Tea
This place is magical and so peaceful. You can wall around the garden after having an amazing high tea experience. They have a very cute gift shop aswell.
The Jade Teahouse
It's instagram famous here and if you visit you will understand why. It seems like every corner is picture worthy and everything that comes from the kitchen has a wow factor.
