I love to read a good book. I have collated a collection of the top reads I have completed that are worthy of sharing.
One of the most beautifully unique books I have ever read.
Devotion | Hannah Kent
This book took me a while to get into, but the ending is just lovely and it's an easy read.
The Seven Skins of Esther Wilding | Holly Ringland
I love listening to Holly on my favourite podcasts. She's also an excellent writer.
The Couple Upstairs | Holly Wainwright
It is a difficult read because of the truth behind the words. It's a story so sad but so poignant still to this day.
A Thousand Splendid Suns | Khaled Hosseini
There are not many books that drag me in from the very first page. This was one of them.
Jean-Baptiste Andrea | Devils And Saints
It was an excellent holiday read. Hooks and mystery, and easy peasy reading.
The Younger Wife | Sally Hepworth
Based on a true story, this book was not the type of book I'd usually pick up. It made me cry, and I appreciate writers who can draw that emotion from their readers.
A Terrible Kindness | Jo Browning Wroe
This book is life changing, and I've recommended it to all my friends and work colleagues.
Atomic Habits | James Clear
2
This book was the winner of the People's Choice Award, Tasmanian Premier's Prize for Fiction. It is a beautiful story of some wonderful women.
The Angry Women's Choir | Meg Bignell
An incredible story of heroines, friendship, epic love and devastating loss. One of my favourite reviews about this book is ‘women can be heroes too’.
The Women | Kristen Hannah
A thriller and a mystery that will leave you guessing. I particularly liked the angles this story line takes and the questions it leaves you asking.
