As a person living with a chronic illness, I often find that I'm stuck in bed or on the couch for days at a time recovering from being social and active. To keep my mind and hands busy when this happens, I've got some go-to crafts I like to do.

Kits for making stuff
So, during one of the times that I have been laid up for a while, I got really into making chainmail jewelry, and now that's one of the main things I make and sell as part of our small business!
Chainmaille Jewelry Kits
I love reading, and so making these cute little bookmarks is a great activity for me. It doesn't use too many spoons, since they're so small, and they're actually functional!
Diamond Painting Bookmark
Van Gogh is my favorite artist, so of course I have to have Van Gogh coasters for my house!
Van Gogh Diamond Painting Coasters Kit with Holder
Honestly, I know that these are marketed for kids, but they're really satisfying to make! Plus, if you search online, you can find patterns to make more than just bracelets and stuff.
Rainbow Loom Kits
Coloring is one of my number one things for relieving stress. It's so calming and easy to do anywhere. Love my coloring books!
Adult Coloring Books
These are the absolute best colored pencils I've ever used. Sorry, Prismacolor, but I prefer Castle Arts. They're amazing, especially when I'm in a lot of pain. I can apply almost no pressure and they go on the page perfectly. *chef's kiss*

Essentials to help with pain
These are honestly the only thing that helps with my hand pain to make it possible for me to continue with my crafting hobbies. I even wear them at work when my hands decide to start complaining!
All-Around Compression Gloves
This pillow has been a lifesaver for me. Whether I have it in front or behind me, it's great for giving me support when I'm having high pain days.

General Crafting Bits n Bobs
I have two of these so far to keep all of my small crafting bits in them so I don't lose them! Otherwise, my craft room would be a MESS! (I mean, it kinda is already, but it would be WAY worse!)

If you get yourself into any sort of jewelry making, or you try out the chainmail kits above, you'll need some pliers. I swear by these ones. They're perfect for my little hands, and they're great quality!
Beadsmith Spring Loaded Pliers Purple Set
If you decide to jump into diamond art (and I highly recommend it…super relaxing!), I would recommend also getting a kit with extras so you can seal your projects, and have more comfortable pens!
