I am a huge fan of fantasy fiction, particularly things that involve magic, the fae, alternate worlds, and things like that. I love losing myself in these worlds that others have created.
So most people have heard of this one because of the TV show. The books are wonderful, magical, and perfect for rainy days and a cup of tea ☕
A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Series)
I love fantasy, especially stuff involving fairy realms and magic, and this book delivers on all accounts! So good!
The Thinking Woman's Guide to Real Magic
The Magicians Trilogy was my go-to when I first learned how awful JK is. These books are like an adult Harry Potter, but WAY better. If you've seen the TV show, there's a lot of deviations from the books, and I would HIGHLY recommend reading the books!
The Magicians Trilogy Boxed Set
If you loved the movie Wicked, you MIGHT like these books. Warning: they're not the same as the movie! They definitely made things a bit happier for the musical, but the stories in these 4 books are so compelling, you won't want to put them down!

This whole series is amazing! Once I started it I couldn't put it down! If you buy direct from the author, you can get signed copies, as well as seconds (that's what I did) PLUS a bit of swag 😁

The first in a trilogy, this book was my introduction into sci-fi when I was just ten years old. Anne McCaffrey had such a gift for writing, and I love rereading these books. They're amazing!

Dystopian fiction is one of my favorite genres, but it's been a bit harder to read lately. Maybe I'll be able to read more soon, but the state of our world is a bit too close to dystopia lately.
If you are a fan of dystopian fiction like me, I sure hope you haven't missed these books! They're another set that were made into movies, but unfortunately not very well. Trust me when I say that the books are better!
Divergent Series Box Set (Books 1-4)
The book that began my love of dystopian fiction! I read this when I was maybe 11 or 12 and never looked back! I have enjoyed many more of Margaret Atwood's books since then, but this is the one that started it all. If you've only seen the show and not read the book, I recommend reading it. It's a fairly short read, and once you start, it's hard to put down!
