Early in 2025 I accidentally purchased ~22,000 seeds. Who does that?
Me. I do.
Someone else out there has to do the same thing I do when shopping online: put a bunch of 💩 in the cart so you can compare them easily once you’re done scrolling.
Wellllll, I did that and then promptly forgot I put 2 packs in my cart. I proceeded to place my grocery order and was VERY confused at how it ended up being so expensive.
Reviewing the cart when I realized the price revealed I had purchased ~22,000 seeds to be delivered to my house the next day! 😱 (Thanks, ADHD)
So since it was *already* March and very late in the seed starting season and I had absolutely nothing to grow these babies in, and zero knowledge base to grow from, I still tried.
And failed.
But mainly because one of my cats decided that she was going to eat all of my pepper plants and decimate everything else in the process. Catching her with a jalapeño pepper plant hanging from between her teeth was both hysterical and frustrating.
So year 1 of gardening was a (predicted) fail.
That’s ok. Now I had time to prep for the next season.
Year 2 will be the 2026 growing season. Here’s my list of all the things I’ve bought so far, all the things I plan to buy, and any other resources I’ve discovered along the way! As well as the planters I received from a close friend’s mom for free! 😍
