You do not need all of these. They are just MY basics. The gym is all about being comfortable so get what makes YOU comfortable!!
If you are starting out, you only need one of the more classic pairs of tennis shoes. However, if you really want to get into lifting, I recommend getting a pair of flat-bottomed shoes as well!
