Bath time became my favorite part of the day once we had the right setup. This is everything we actually use: the tub and support for the slippery newborn stage, a rinser that keeps soap out of little eyes, toys that will not grow mildew, and the kne...
A tub that grows from newborn recline to toddler sit-up means one less thing to rebuy, and the rinse cup comes with it. Ours earned its keep every single night.
Frida Baby 4-in-1 Grow-with-Me Bath Tub Kit
For the early weeks when they are so slippery you need both hands. This support gives you one back, and it dries fast hanging on its hook.
Angelcare Baby Bath Support | Grey
The waterfall edge keeps soap out of little eyes, which turned hair washing from a wrestling match into a non-event. The whale shape is a bonus.
Skip Hop Moby Waterfall Rinse Cup
The whale covers the hard spout edge and the tail flips up so the diverter still works. A small thing that has saved many head bumps.
Skip Hop Moby Bath Spout Cover
Bath time is hard on knees and elbows. This pad is the difference between dreading the bathroom floor and not noticing it.
Skip Hop Moby Elbow Saver and Kneeler
Fragrance free and genuinely gentle - what we used for the entire first year. One pump does hair and body.
Pipette Baby Shampoo and Wash | Fragrance Free
Soft organic cotton, generously sized, and the hood actually stays on a wiggly baby. We own two.
Burt's Bees Baby Organic Hooded Towel
Five little boats that stack, scoop, and pour. Simple enough that they are still the first toys reached for.
Boon Fleet Stacking Boats
Suction pipes that pour water in surprising directions. They teach cause and effect while you get one more minute of washing.
Boon Pipes Bath Toy Set
Sealed floating bubbles with beads and characters inside - no mildew, which is more than I can say for most bath toys.
Munchkin Float and Play Bubbles
The bin stands on the tub edge, toys drip-dry into the base, and the whole thing lifts off to pour out. Bath clutter, handled.
OXO Tot Stand Up Bath Toy Bin
The disc on the bottom says HOT when the water is too warm. A tiny peace-of-mind check before baby goes in.
Munchkin White Hot Safety Bath Ducky
Tub crayons turn the tile wall into a canvas and rinse right off. Bath time resistance drops to zero.
