Rereading books is sometimes a must, especially in the MFA program.
I first read this in high school and then in college. I’m thinking it might be time to read it again soon.
The Handmaid's Tale
Again, “read” in High School, wasn’t ready to appreciate it. Read bits and pieces in my bachelor’s program. Finally read it all the way through for my MFA.
Frankenstein 1818 Text (Reader's Library)
Absolutely one of my favorite books for so many reasons. Definitely worth a reread to fully submerge yourself into the story.
The Book Thief
I recently reread the series after first reading it in 2020. Thanks booktok!
A Court of Thorns and Roses Box Set (5 books)
Read the first one in 2019, for stuck in the second one. Read the first one again and the second one in 2024, got stuck in the third.
Hopefully I’ll finish the third in 2025?
The Night Angel Trilogy (Night Angel Trilogy, 1-3)
Read it to see how it compared to the Studio Ghibli movie. Recently reread it for plot purposes.
Howl's Moving Castle (Howl's Castle Book 1)
It’s pretty rare when I read a non-fiction book cover to cover TWICE! Started with the audiobook and the snarky narrator, then had to read it for my first ever MFA class.
Bird by Bird: Writing and Life Instructions
As a big theatre nerd, this musical lead me to read the original book multiple times. Each time it got even better.
The Phantom of the Opera
Started this series more times than I’ve finished it. I think I had to mature a bit to enjoy the classics.
Anne Of Green Gables: Complete 8-Book Box Set
A classic I actually really enjoyed from the first time I read it. Had to read it again in my bachelor’s program.
